Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I outsource my bookkeeping instead of doing it myself?
Business owners who do their own books typically spend 5 to 10 hours per month on a task outside their expertise, with a high risk of errors that creates stress and missed tax savings later.

Outsourcing removes that stress, puts time and money back in your pocket, and provides accurate monthly financials that will allow for good decision making and fuel business growth.
What types of businesses do you work with?
I work primarily with service-based business owners: photo/videographers, home-service, health and wellness, business coaches, brokers, and similar businesses. Most clients have 1 to 10 employees and $100,000 to $5M in annual revenue.
What makes working with you different than working with a large firm or franchise?
You work directly with me every time. There’s no hand-off to a team, no long-term contract required, and pricing is built around your actual business rather than a predetermined tier.

I strive for the best customer service you can ask for and genuinely care about you and your business.
How much does monthly bookkeeping cost?
Pricing is based on the size and complexity of your business, not a fixed package. Most clients invest $200–$600 per month for their bookkeeping.

Pricing is confirmed after a free 30-minute discovery call with no obligation.
What is included in monthly bookkeeping?
Most clients need transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliations, and delivery of monthly financial statements.

Those in need of more services can add loan tracking, AP/AR assistance, class and project tracking, quarterly performance reports, 1099 filing, and more.
How long does it take to get my books current if I’ve fallen behind?
Catch-up bookkeeping typically takes 1 to 4 weeks depending on how far behind you are and your transaction volume. A one-time cleanup engagement is priced based on scope after an initial review so there’s no surprise billing.
What accounting software do you use?
All work is done exclusively in QuickBooks Online. I am QBO Advanced ProAdvisor and do not work in other platforms. However, if you’re not already on QBO, I can get you setup or migrated over.
Do you serve businesses outside of Austin, Texas?
Absolutely. I am fully remote and capable of serving business owners across all 50 U.S. states.
How do I get started?
Book a free 30-minute discovery call and I will diagnose your current bookkeeping situation, determine which services will be highest impact, and provide you a custom quote.
